Zelen De Adami

This autochthonous Vipava wine has a bright greenish-yellow color – and it got its name from it, it represents the concept of a particularly fragrant, white, lively wine, which was sometimes called “fragrance” precisely because of its intense smell. Due to the lower loads on the vine, today its aromatic character is even more pronounced; its flower is delicate and expressive at the same time, definitely pleasant and intoxicatingly fragrant; the experience of this special wine is followed by an elegant, recognizable, rich and very harmonious taste. Together with Pinela, they represent a traditional wine pairing, without which the wine-producing Vipava Valley cannot be imagined. We will serve Zelen with simple dishes of local (Vipava) cuisine, as well as with other light dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, potatoes and home-made pasta dishes.

Wine aroma: an elegant and aromatic bouquet of dry banana, vanilla and caramel aromas
Taste: rich, all kinds of flavors, oak and coconut flavors linger in the long finish

Pairing with food: freshwater fish dishes, pasta, risotto
